Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer to lead the end-to-end design, prototyping, and manufacturing of our edge-AI hardware kits, robotics platforms, and custom printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Responsibilities
- Design complex multi-layer PCBs, schematics, and high-speed digital/analog circuits using KiCad, Altium Designer, or Cadence.
- Select components, manage component lifecycle, and oversee prototype bring-up, testing, and debugging in the lab.
- Collaborate closely with embedded firmware engineers and AI researchers to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.
- Manage contract manufacturers, supply chain partners, and compliance testing (CE, FCC, RoHS) for mass production readiness.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in hardware engineering, PCB design, and embedded systems development.
- Proven track record of taking custom hardware designs from concept through manufacturing and mass production.
- Deep expertise in high-speed communication interfaces (SPI, I2C, USB, PCIe, MIPI) and power management ICs.
- Hands-on lab skills with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and thermal imaging equipment.
